We are a small voluntary organisation based in Poole in Dorset, UK.

You have a right to know why we have collected this information and you have a right to restrict or stop this.

  • When you make a donation to us

  • When you contact us by email or email form through our websites

Privacy statement for our volunteers

When do we collect your personal data

  • You apply for a volunteer role with us

  • You attend our volunteer meetings or project sessions.

  • As part of the everyday administration of work-related activities. 

 Why do we collect and use your personal data?

  • To recruit volunteers.

  • To manage your volunteering experience with us. For example, processing holiday times, progress reviews etc.

  • To take appropriate action in the event that a formal complaint or concern is raised, including safeguarding.

  • To run background checks in accordance with our policies and procedures.

  • To plan necessary cover for the project sessions.

  • To keep you informed and to improve our strategy, plans, activities and services with your feedback.

Other volunteers might access your personal data where this is required for Inara Project purposes. Where this is the case Inara Project relies on all volunteers to access and use personal data in accordance with their obligations under our data protection policy.
