IN OUR COMMUNITY

As Inara Project has grown, we’ve achieved some pretty cool things

  • Islam Channel Appearance

We were invited onto Islam Channel’s Salaam Britain show to speak about Inara Project! This was our first TV appearance and while the team were nervous, they presented Inara Project excellently and even got to show off a recipe from our In Our Kitcen project. The Salaam Britain crew made everyone feel comfortable and we are so grateful for the opportunity. We pray that this serves as a motivation for all of our volunteers to help us succeed even further, and as proof of the impact the entire community has had on our successes so far.

  • Hope FM Radio Interview

We are Community Action Network’s (CAN) Community Heroes in the Spotlight for the month of July! To celebrate International Friendship day on the 30th of July, CAN will be sharing our great work and how we nurture friendships between women from all walks of life. We were also given the chance to go onto Hope FM and speak about our experience and journey through Inara Project. You can listen to our radio segment by clicking the button below. Inara project started out as a group of friends, so we hope that it inspires you to do something great with your loved ones.

  • BCP Community Award

It was an absolute pleasure accepting the award for the BCP Community Awards for our Outstanding Contribution. A huge thank you to everyone who nominated us as well as our wonderful volunteers who have made Inara Project into the charity that it is. All our hardwork to uplift the community is a true testament to the passion the volunteers feel for the projects we’ve run. We can’t waiit to do more for the community, and for service users to experience new creative opportunities as well as receive support and feel connected to tose around them.
