VOLUNTEERS
Volunteers are involved in the running and organisation of Inara Project and it's services. We are looking for those who want to put their skills to good use whether you're are an IT or graphic design expert, a social media savvy, enjoy planning and managing projects or have a love for writing blogs!
As a volunteer, you will be placed in one of our many departments and given roles and responsibilities to be carried out with our values in mind, as well as contributing to the vision of Inara Project.
Being a volunteer at Inara Project will not only allow you to use your expertise in a real world setting, improve your chances of employability and develop your CV, but will allow you to be part of a professional team of ladies that are incredibly committed to their community, hoping to make it a better place, one project at a time whilst inspiring those around us to get involved!

DEPARTMENTS
Our volunteers are split between different departments which make up Inara Project. Take a look at what each department does as well as our wonderful volunteers who are involved.
Marketing
Our marketing volunteers are responsible for the front face of Inara Project. From managing social media platforms to engaging with followers and other organisations. You may also be designing and creating marketing matieral including posters and videos for our social media platform. If you have a creative eye and are up for the challenge then join the marketing department!
Business Relations
This volunteer position is for those of you with a business minded approach. Our business relation volunteers are always looking for ways to expand our network and build connections with other like-minded organisations. Some of the tasks you can expect to carry out are developing connections with external bodies, identifying opportunities for Inara Project’s growth and organising media distribution.
Project Delivery
The project delivery volunteers at Inara are heavily involved in the planning and organisation of events and projects. For example, finding venues, creating itineraries, organising and purchasing equipment, networking with other organisations and partners, project reserch and manning events if you are local. It’s not an easy job, but if it’s something that interests you and you enjoy this side of things, then please sign up!
Human Resources
As a human resources volunteer, you will be developing and implementing HR strategies and initiatives, as well as developing and reviewing HR policies. Additionally, you will be handling adminstration of the processes for recruitment, selection and induction of new volunteers. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as, the ability to plan and prioritise a complex and varied work load are what you’ll need to apply for this role. Excellent IT skills and being highly proficient in office applications are desirable.
